What You Can Grow

From greens and herbs to flowers and even dwarf fruit trees, you can grow a variety of edible and ornamental plants in your Caja. In addition to our Caja planting guide, we’ve included a few more ideas for inspiration.

Tea Garden

2x Lemon Balm, 2x Mint, 1x Stevia, 1x Chamomile. Enjoy home-grown herbal tea all summer long! And as a bonus, any extra herbs can be dried and enjoyed all winter long, extending your enjoyment of the season or even making for a great homemade gift idea. Depending on where you live, the lemon balm, mint (and maybe the chamomile) will survive the winter and grow for many years

Salad Garden:

Plant your favourite salad greens to enjoy throughout the growing season. This can be a couple boxes of lettuce, arugula, and mizuna, or a couple boxes of spinach and bok choy.

Holiday Garden:

1x poinsettia, 6x salad greens. This is a great way to bring the garden indoors in the winter for the holiday season. Plant the poinsettia in the middle with salad greens like lettuce and arugula or mixed herbs along the outside.
